John D. Blair, Sr., CPA John received his Bachelor degrees in Business Management and Economics from North Carolina State University graduating Cum Laude. He later completed his required undergraduate studies in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and obtained his CPA Certificate in 1988. In 1986, John joined a regional accounting firm for which he became the managing CPA of the Charlotte, North Carolina office. In 1995, he began providing accounting and tax services in the Charlotte market as a sole practitioner until he formed Blair, Bohlé, & Whitsitt, PLLC with George Bohlé and Bryant Whitsitt. John’s experience consists of providing accounting and assurance services, tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, and individuals, retirement plan designs and administration, and business advisory services to small and middle-market corporations. John currently maintains active memberships with the AICPA and NCACPA. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for Charlotte Saves.
George holds a Master of Taxation from the University of Baltimore and undergraduate degrees both in accounting and business administration from Townson State. George is a founding partner of Blair, Bohlé, & Whitsitt, PLLC and concentrates on business income tax planning, consulting and tax compliance, along with its effect on shareholders and individuals. George works with both large and medium size businesses to assist in their corporate goals. George began his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche in 1993 in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland and in 1998 relocated to Charlotte. George has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant servicing the business community since 1993 and currently maintains memberships with the AICPA and the NCACPA. In addition, George is a graduate of both the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Leadership Charlotte and the United Way Leading the Way programs.
Bryant holds a Master of Business Administration and Finance degree from the University of North Carolina and an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Connecticut. Bryant began his public accounting career in 1993 with a large local CPA firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where he rendered both accounting and tax services; concentrating in corporate partnership and individual tax consulting and compliance. In 1998, Bryant joined Deloitte & Touche where he serviced both partnership and corporate tax clients until September 2000 when he was admitted to Blair, Bohlé & Whitsitt, PLLC. Throughout his career Bryant has gained expertise in tax planning and consulting with business owners related to formation, entity structuring, corporate and partnership tax compliance and planning strategies with high net worth individuals, trusts and estates. Bryant has been a licensed CPA in the State of North Carolina since 1996. Bryant holds active memberships in the AICPA and the NCACPA and has served on the Board of Directors of local area not-for-profit organizations.
Steve received his Bachelor degree with a major in accounting from the Florida State University. In 1982, Steve began his public accounting career with a regional accounting firm for whom he eventually became the managing partner of the Montgomery, Alabama office. Steve became a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina in July 1984 and received reciprocal licenses in the State of Alabama in 1993 and the State of North Carolina in 2005. Since 2004, he has provided accounting services in the Charlotte market and in January, 2007, was admitted to Blair, Bohlé & Whitsitt, PLLC. Steve’s experience consists of providing accounting and assurance services to a wide variety of governmental, not-for-profit and corporate entities and tax compliance services for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. At Blair, Bohle & Whitsitt, PLLC, Steve is primarily responsible for the Firm’s assurance and accounting services. Steve currently maintains active memberships with the AICPA, NCACPA, SCACPA and ASCPA.
